I’m Lacey! I am a Texas Certified Classroom Teacher with more than 10 years of experience helping students overcome learning barriers. I hold advanced training in Structured Literacy, which is a step-by-step method that helps children learn to read, write, and spell easily. My mission is to give your child the tools they need to succeed in their regular school classroom.
Why This Work is Personal to Me
My passion for teaching comes from my own life story. I grew up learning to read and write with a brain that processes language, writing, and attention differently. I also helped homeschool my own siblings who struggled with these exact same challenges.
Today, I am a mother to two sons who also experience unique learning and attention barriers.
Combine my personal life story with my 10+ years as a Texas Certified Public School Teacher (EC-6, 4-8, and ESL), and you get an expert teacher who truly understands both the school system and unique learning needs.
To give you the highest quality lessons, I am also completing advanced clinical hours through an official, accredited Multisensory Structured Language Education (MSLE) program. [1]
